1. About these terms
These terms cover maya, the job-search assistant from morduos. That includes CV rewriting, the portfolio, application tracking, Gmail filing, drafts on X, and the browser extension.
Using maya means you agree to these terms. If you use maya for a company, you need authority to accept them for that company. Extra terms shown for a feature or a plan apply together with these.
2. Your account
Give accurate account information and keep your sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell support if you think someone else has access.
Do not share verification codes, and do not let another person use your account to get around a limit on a plan.
3. What maya does for you
You set maya up once. It can rewrite your CV for a role, build a portfolio from a chat, track the applications you choose, and file Gmail replies. Mention @askmaya under a hiring post and maya writes the email for your approval, or on autopilot if you turn that on. The extension fills the form in front of you and uploads a CV written for that role.
You stay responsible for what is sent in your name. Read the CV, the portfolio, and the email before they go out, unless you have chosen autopilot for that send.
4. Your content
You need the rights to the CV, work history, and projects you give maya. Import your own LinkedIn history. Connect GitHub only for projects you are allowed to share.
A portfolio you publish is public. An application you submit is shared with that employer. Workspace or company content, if you later use maya that way, follows the permissions of that account.
5. AI and autopilot
Drafts, scores, and filled forms can be incomplete or wrong. A high ATS score is a formatting and keyword check. It is not a promise of an interview or an offer.
Autopilot lets maya send the X email without waiting for approval. Turn it off when you want each draft held. You are responsible for mail sent while autopilot is on.
6. Acceptable use
Use maya for your own job search, or for a search you are authorised to run. Respect employers, other people, and the service.
- Use your own identity
- Do not apply with someone else’s name, CV, or accounts.
- Respect employers and inboxes
- Do not send spam, harass a hiring team, or misuse a form or a mailbox.
- Protect the service
- Do not scrape, overload, break, or attempt to get access you do not have.
7. Plans and payment
Individual plans are Basic, Starter, and Pro. You can try maya free for 3 days. Prices are shown in naira or dollars, monthly or annually, before you pay. Taxes can apply.
The billing screen shows the current subscription and how to change or cancel it. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Fees already charged are handled as shown at checkout, and as the law requires.
8. The extension and connections
Install the extension from the official listing. Its permissions are for filling the application you open and uploading the CV for that role.
Gmail, X, LinkedIn, and GitHub connect only when you allow them. You can disconnect them at any time. Those services’ own terms still apply to your use of them.
9. Changes and responsibility
Features can change as maya develops. Access can be limited to stop misuse, protect people, or meet a legal duty. Copy what you need before you close the account.
maya is a job-search assistant. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, or a particular ATS result. Limits on responsibility apply only as far as the law allows. Contact [email protected] first so the issue can be understood.
