1. Information we collect
maya is the job-search assistant from morduos. The information involved depends on the features you turn on: a rewritten CV, a portfolio, application tracking, Gmail filing, drafts on X, or the browser extension.
- Account details
- Your name, email address, and the sign-in details needed to open your account.
- Career materials
- Your CV, work history, answers in the portfolio chat, a LinkedIn import, and GitHub projects if you choose to connect GitHub.
- Job search activity
- Roles you open, applications you track, forms the extension fills, and the CV uploaded for that role.
- Connected accounts
- Gmail, so replies can be filed, and X, when you mention @askmaya or send a draft. Each connection is optional.
- Billing
- Your plan, currency, trial, and payment status. Card numbers stay with the payment processor.
- Device and diagnostics
- Browser and extension details, feature usage, and diagnostic information used to keep maya working.
2. How information is used
maya uses your information to do the job-search work you ask for, keep the account secure, and answer support.
maya rewrites your CV for a role, writes and publishes a portfolio from your chat, files Gmail replies as applied, interview, offer, or rejected, and drafts the email when you mention @askmaya. The extension fills the application you open and uploads a CV written for that role. Billing information is used to run the plan you choose, including the 3-day trial.
3. AI features
To write a CV, a portfolio, or an email, maya sends the relevant career materials and the role to the model that produces the draft. A draft waits for your approval unless you turn on autopilot for X.
Autopilot means maya may send that email without waiting. You can turn it off. Review a score, a draft, or a filled form before you rely on it. maya does not sell your career materials.
4. Connected services
LinkedIn, GitHub, Gmail, X, and the browser extension are used only for the feature you enable. LinkedIn can supply your history. GitHub can supply projects. Gmail is read so replies can be filed. X is used when you mention @askmaya or approve a draft.
You can disconnect a service or remove the extension. That stops new collection from it. Each service has its own privacy policy, and a disclosure may also be required by law.
5. Who can see it
Your account is yours. An application you submit goes to that employer through the form or the email you send. A portfolio you publish is public at the address maya gives it.
morduos operates maya. People who host the product, deliver email, process payments, or run the model see the information needed for the feature you use. Support at [email protected] can see what is needed to help you. maya does not sell personal information.
7. Retention and security
Career materials stay while your account is open and the feature needs them. Closing the account removes them from the product, apart from copies kept for a short backup window or where the law requires a record.
Security measures match the sensitivity of a CV and a job search. No method of storage or transmission removes every risk.
8. Your choices
You can review your profile, connected accounts, and autopilot setting in the product. You can ask for access, a correction, a copy, or deletion of personal information.
Email [email protected]. Some requests need a check that the account is yours before they can be completed.
9. Updates and contact
This policy can change when maya or its data practices change. The date above is the current version.
Questions about this policy go to the morduos support team at [email protected].
